Typical of Martin Nigl's wines is their crystalline mineral character resulting from the soil of the primary rocks on which the vines grow.

Add to this the delicate flavours of lemons and apples, pears and quinces of peaches and gooseberries. This can be noticed particularly clearly with the strong wines of the „Privat„ series for which the best grapes of the oldest vines are carefully picked in the top location of „Senftenberger Piri“.
